Superbells Blue is a stunning, low-maintenance plant that enchants with its vibrant blue-purple flowers throughout the entire growing season. From the moment it's planted until the first frost, this variety produces an abundance of petite, petunia-like blooms that create a captivating display of color. Its heat tolerance ensures it thrives in warm conditions, while its self-cleaning nature means there's no need for deadheading. Additionally, Superbells Blue is a magnet for pollinators, making it a wonderful choice for both your garden and local wildlife. Perfect for adding beauty with minimal effort, it’s an ideal addition to any outdoor space.

  • 6-12 inches tall and12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11
  • Plant in part sun to sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces blue flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green mounded/trailing foliage spring to hard frost
  • Great for containers, hanging baskets
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Heat and drought tolerant, long blooming, fall interest, low maintenance, deadheading not required

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.
