'Jack of Diamonds' (Brunnera)

Our perennials are currently going dormant. The foliage and blooms begin to brown and die back. We provide a hard trim in the greenhouse to support this process. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

Jack of Diamonds displays 9-10" leaves with a silver overlay and dark green veining. Leaves overlap dramatically at the base and look circular from a distance. Baby blue, forget-me-not type blossoms bloom mid to late spring. The mounded habit works as a filler and spiller in containers and works great in the landscape. It attracts bees, and resists deer

Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Clean away any dead foliage after frost. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring.
