Double the blooms, double the charm! Superbells Magic® Double Grapefruit brings everything you adored in Superbells Magic® Pink Lemonade—now with lush, fully double flowers. These vibrant calibrachoas open in a cheerful lemon yellow and gracefully transition to soft pink as the season warms, creating a mesmerizing ombré effect that shifts with the sunlight.

Perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and containers, this color-changing beauty pairs effortlessly with other annuals, adding texture and a dreamy pastel palette to any arrangement. With its non-stop blooms and self-cleaning flowers, Double Grapefruit is low maintenance, high impact, and absolutely irresistible.

6-12 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
Produces double flowers that open yellow, shifting to pink as the season progresses until hard frost
Maintains green mounded/trailing foliage spring to hard frost
Great for containers and hanging baskets
Heat tolerant, long blooming, deadheading not required

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.

Damage to Shipping Package

These seem to be doing OK now. When I received them the box looked like it had been torn open on the bottom and one of the calibrachoa had been stuffed back in he box upside down which made it come completely out of the container. This resulted in a couple of broken branches. I called and left a message regarding this damage but did not receive a return call. I also attempted to send some pictures which may or may not have gone through. I am not happy that I did not receive a call.

Apologies that you did not receive the email one of our reps sent! Sometimes our emails can go to the spam folder. If you need any further assistance, please email us at HelpDesk@ProvenWinnersDirect.com we would be happy to help! Sincerely, PWD Team

Ordered 4

Ordered 4, lost 1 to damage via shipping. Fortunately my local nursery had 1 left! Color and form are lovely. I only rated 4 out of 5 because this particular Superbell seems very fragile. Laura from Garden Answer planted these in pots last year and was very pleased with them throughout her growing season, which gives me hope. If they made it through her harsh climate, I think they should do well in my sometimes humid 7A.
