Supertunia® Lovie Dovie™ is a delightful showstopper with fun pink and white striped flowers that bloom non-stop from planting until the first frost! These cheerful blooms bring a burst of color and a touch of whimsy to your garden. With their vigorous growth and slightly mounded habit, Supertunias are perfect as both fillers and spillers in containers, or as vibrant accents near the front of landscape beds. This award-winning variety is heat and drought-tolerant, attracts buzzing pollinators, and doesn’t need deadheading—making it as easy to care for as it is to admire! Let Lovie Dovie™ bring playful charm to your outdoor space all season long!

  • 4-12 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 12-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces white flowers with a pink star pattern spring to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring to hard frost
  • Great for landscapes, containers, hanging baskets, window boxes
  • Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Continuous bloomer, long blooming, fall interest, heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Give a light trim anytime you think it's needed or at least once in July and once in August. Never trim off more than 20% of the branches.

At this point, my entire garden is pretty much all PW, especially the Supertunias, which went in in April, and giving exactly the kind of big, almost effortless color you dream of. The Lovie-Dovies went into hanging baskets in June, and they are busy catching up with the others. All the PW flowers come as robust seedlings, carefully packed, and ready to grow. Very highly recommended
