Supertunia® Picasso in Purple™ is a stunning variety that features vibrant purple flowers with striking lime green edges, creating a bold and eye-catching display. Known for its vigorous growth and slightly mounded habit, Supertunia petunias work beautifully as both fillers and spillers in containers, offering a lush, cascading effect. They also excel in landscapes, particularly when placed near the front of beds, where their colorful blooms can shine. This award-winning variety is heat and drought-tolerant, attracts pollinators, and requires no deadheading, ensuring continuous beauty with minimal maintenance throughout the season.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part/full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 12-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces purple rimmed with chartreuse flowers spring through frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for landscapes, containers, hanging baskets, window boxes

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Give a light trim anytime you think it's needed or at least once in July and once in August. Never trim off more than 20% of the branches.

I ordered two - one each for a potted hydrangea combination I made up.
The petunias were the "second spiller", and they hit the ground running!
Both have thrived and they look wonderful alongside the other plants.
You can't go wrong with Supertunias!

Plants arrived in rough condition. Dirt all over them, wilted, in very poor condition. Not what I have come to expect from Proven Winner Plants. I will try to salvage them. I will be able to save 3 out of the 4 for sure, but I was bummed for sure, especially for what I paid for each plant. I have pictures but like a dork I can’t figure out how to post them.

This one was in bad shape when i received it so it died stun after getting it. When i opened the box dirt and all fell out. Ask of them looked rough but this one got the worst of it. They need to take more care when packaging.

These are my very fav annual. I bought a pale green glazed pot just for this variety. The last couple of year I have not found them locally and I did not want to miss out this year so I ordered them from PW direct. The FedEx carriers take care with PW plants. It's ingenious how the are packaged and do not jiggle around in the box. 5 were in one box..all arrived intact, it's a little like King Tut's tomb to open the box...better that than how other company plants have arrived...dumped out and broken and box filled with dirt. Ya can't go wrong, great plants and careful shipping. Best of both.
