Our 10th spot on the list belongs to the Supertunia® Vista Silverberry. This gorgeous white and pink petunia is ideal for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds while maintaining a strong resistance to both heat and drought. Its slightly mounded habit allows it to function as both a filler and a spiller in containers, but it’ll also preform wonderfully in the front of beds. Weekly fertilizer and a light trim as-needed will have this beauty in tip-top shape!

Zones: Annual except in zones 10 and 11

Size: 1-2 feet tall and trails up to 3 feet at maturity

Light: Part to full sun

One of the most eye-catching foliage-forward plants we offer, Dolce® ‘Wildberry’ Coral Bells is number 9 on our list. With outstanding purple foliage and fantastic white summer flowers, we’re not surprised it’s so well loved!

It resists deer and is attractive to both hummingbirds and butterflies. It has a maximum width of about 20 inches, making it a great choice for any gardener that wants to be cautious of space. It prefers a mix of sun and shade and can be best kept healthy by trimming back damaged foliage in early spring. It should also be fertilized in the spring, ideally with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food.

With a beautiful upright shape and perfect purple spherical blooms, the ‘Serendipity’ Ornamental Onion is an easy choice when looking for a mid-height plant to incorporate into your beds. It's all-around hardy, and resists both deer and rabbits while attracting bees and butterflies.

It’ll work wonderfully in both containers and in the landscape and requires relatively little care aside from a spring fertilization with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food and a quick, optional stem trimming after it has finished flowering.

We’re not too surprised to see the Little Lime Punch™ Panicle Hydrangea on this list! Though it was recently introduced, it's become a fan favorite for its eternally breathtaking blooms that change color from the bottom up as the season progresses. This results in blooms of white, pink, and red all at the same time! There’ll always be a place in the landscape for this hardy reblooming shrub.

At 3 to 5ft tall and wide at maturity, it’s a large but still reasonably sized choice for creating direction, privacy, and beauty all about your landscape. Care is fairly simple as well, with a quick prune (1/3 of its total height) every spring along with a continuous release fertilization at the same time.

With a timeless, classic beauty that’s hard to beat, our 6th spot on this list goes to the Supertunia Mini Vista® White. Its blooms last all season, and its smaller size allows for a wider variety of planting options, especially in containers. It’ll still look fantastic in beds, but be sure to plant them near the front for maximum visibility. With no need to deadhead and a tolerance to both heat and drought, the level of required care is very manageable. We recommend fertilizing weekly and giving it a light trim once in July and once in August.

Prune it back by a third of its total height in early spring, along with a dose of continuous release fertilizer. Fertilize again in mid-summer and watch it flourish!
