Solar Flare displays bright yellow spikey flowers over grass-like foliage. This upright perennial is a great thriller in containers or the landscape. It is salt and drought tolerant once established, attracts pollinators, and resists deer and rabbits.

    NOT deer resistant

    Deer just ate my two brand new plants.

    Proven Winners Direct

    Thank you for sharing!! Some of our plants are deer resistant; some plants are not. However, even “deer-resistant” does not mean it’s “deer-proof.” Deer will eat just about anything if they are hungry enough. You may want to try using a deer repellent such as PlantSkydd around the perimeter of your yard to keep deer away from your plants.

    Ordered a month in advance & never received

    I pre-ordered this plant and never received, A week after my set shipping date I contacted Customer Service and they were extremely helpful. And replace my plant with a different plant. It was sweet but I was really looking forward to finally getting a Red Hot Poker plant. Maybe I'll try again nrxt year.
