Known for being one of the most prolifically flowering, fastest-growing reblooming hydrangeas, this beauty offers large, dense flowers that change depending on soil pH. In acidic soils, enjoy rich violet-purple blooms, while neutral soils bring out saturated pink flowers. As the season progresses, these blooms age to a soft mauve, providing vibrant color well into fall. Compact and mounded, this hydrangea fits effortlessly into any garden or container, adding a burst of excitement to your landscape year-round.

Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Pruning is not generally recommended. Although its flower buds are formed on both old wood and new wood, any cuts will impact its flowering potential. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time, just cut back to a set of leaves. If you’d like to prune to shape the plant, this can be done when the plant is starting to break dormancy in late winter or early spring, just look for swelling green leaf buds. Deadheading can be done after bloom, just follow the stem down to the first set of leaves and cut ¼ of an inch above them. Soil pH affects flower color, expect pink blooms in alkaline soils and purple blooms in acidic soils where aluminum is present.
