Current Location:

Surefire Rose begonia has beautiful pink blooms all season. It's a tough, vigorous, gorgeous plant that works in both sun and shade conditions. They can tolerate some drought conditions but will look their best with more consistent moisture and regular feeding.

  • 12-24 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11
  • Plant in sun or shade
  • Space plants 12-18 inches apart for best results
  • Produces pink flowers through from planting to frost
  • Maintains bronze-brown foliage spring through frost
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, mass plantings
  • Heat tolerant, long blooming, deadheading not necessary, foliage interest

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They can tolerate some drought conditions but will look their best with more consistent moisture and regular feeding.
