We are so excited about the new 2021 Colorchoice® shrubs that we couldn't help but release a few to you this year! Without further ado, here is the starting lineup of 2021 Proven Winners® Colorchoice® shrubs:
A remarkable, early blooming hydrangea with the wow-factor. It has large, football-sized, and shaped blooms that open in a creamy green color. Watermelon hues appear at the baseof the bloom and work their way uptowards the tip as it ages.
An improved, more refined ‘Limelight’, with darker leaves, stronger stems, a more compact habit, and upright growth. It makes a great container hydrangea. The blooms emerge a vivid lime-green and maintain that color until they transition into bubblegum pink and then a deep punch pink.
A dwarf hydrangea similar to Bobo® for the front of the border with a bun-shaped habit and proportionately sized, rounded blooms. The late-season blooms emerge a creamy, light green-white and quickly begin to turn raspberry pink, creating a pleasing blend of colors.
Lo & Behold® 'Ruby Chip' Butterfly Bush
Ruby Chip is a tiny and tidy mound of orchid-pink flower spikes, with a cute pincushion-like habit that makes it perfect for including in perennial gardens. Earlier blooming than other butterfly bush, which means you get non stop color from early summer clear through frost.
Baby Kim displays glossy, dark green foliage and an abundance of fragrant purple spring blooms that don't fade to white. The rounded habit fits into just about any sunny spot in your landscape. It attracts pollinators and resists deer.
