Everything vintage is trending with many gardeners, and this antique amber-orange veined, fully double-flowered calibrachoa is everything you are looking for. Its color shift when grown outside makes it even more compelling, with purple tones appearing in its veins and petals. Try combining Superbells® Double Vintage Coral with deep reds and purples, golds or creamy white in hanging baskets, upright containers and window boxes. This new variety was a standout performer in our Florida trials, ranking as the top Superbells and one of the best plants overall in the entire trial. Its habit is impressively robust, and the blooms keep on coming all season without deadheading.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11
  • Plant in part to full (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces amber-orange flowers with hints of reddish purple spring through hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through hard frost
  • Great for containers and hanging baskets
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Heat and drought tolerant, long blooming, fall interest, low maintenance, deadheading not necessary

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.
