Double Play Red has pink-red blooms and showy dark burgundy spring foliage. It attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies, and resists deer. It naturally grows as a dense, rounded mound that is perfect for mixed borders, mass plantings, and foundation plantings.

Double Play Red reaches 2-4 feet tall and wide at maturity. It is hardy in zones 3-8, plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily). Heavy pruning should be done in late winter/early spring and light pruning can occur after flowering if desired. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
