Bollywood Azalea produces bright, magenta flowers in spring and attractive variegated foliage all season long. It attracts butterflies. Use as an accent plant in beds or containers (plant in the ground in fall if in a patio pot). The variegated foliage and small size make it good for edging walkways and other tight spaces.
- 2-3 feet tall and 1.5-2 feet wide at maturity
- Grows in zones 6-9
- Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
Care: Little pruning is needed, but plants may be trimmed after flowering. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring.
Like most variegated plants, occasional reversions to the original green foliage may occur. These should be pruned out as needed.
