Karalee Petite Pink has wands of pink flowers that hover like butterflies over dark green to burgundy foliage. Each flowering stem adds blooms, continuously to the end of the spike. It is heat and drought tolerant and attracts butterflies.
Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
Deadheading isn't necessary for continued blooming, but you may find that you prefer to trim back some of the flowering stems at some point in mid-summer. This will encourage new flowering stems to emerge. Flowers will be closer to the foliage and the plant will look tidier. If you choose, you can trim all the flower stems off at once, however, you should then expect a 2 to 3 week period without flowers.
Good will order from you again!
Wonderful. I used it with euphorbia, and it's lovely. The petite variety of gaura does not have such an extensive taproot so I am able to use it in smaller containers.
