Supertunia Bordeaux has beautiful light purple flowers with deep purple veins. Supertunia petunias are vigorous with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers. They are also excellent landscape plants, best suited to be placed near the front of beds. This award winner is heat and drought tolerant, attracts pollinators, and does not need to be deadheaded.

Plant Powered Packaging by Proven Winners®: Introducing the full annual Eco+Grande collection! The Eco+Grande is a game changing Plant Container made from plants!  This compostable container is made from starchy renewable plants like corn, switch grass and sugar beets grown in the United States. The Eco+Grande has nutrients built into the wall of the container that helps plants grow bigger and faster all season, if planted in the ground. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product.

Supertunia Bordeaux thriving in Texas 100+

We love all the supertunias but Supertunia Bordeaux is one of my favorites!!! Received 2 weeks ago in 100+ temperatures in perfect condition. Plant was large and well established for the container size. We used Bio-tone Starter fertilizer to build strong roots, and Proven Winners shoslow release fertilizer and all 8 plants are thriving in temps around 105-109.
