Violet Knight displays bright purple blooms and a yellow eye. With an array of tiny flowers making up a larger ball-shaped bloom, Violet Knight adds unique movement and texture to your landscape and container combinations. It is heat tolerant, incredibly fragrant, and attracts bees and butterflies, all while producing magnificent blooms all season long!

Lobularia are wonderful multi-season plants. If hardened off, they can be planted in early spring when temperatures still fluctuate wildly, but these improved varieties also have much better heat performance. They aren't bulletproof plants yet, but they do bloom prolifically through the summer in most areas. Then as things cool off again in fall the plants adapt once again to wide variations in temperatures. They will bloom prolifically in fall until a good hard frost finally causes them to call it done for the year.

Plant Powered Packaging by Proven Winners®: Introducing the full annual Eco+Grande collection! The Eco+Grande is a game changing Plant Container made from plants!  This compostable container is made from starchy renewable plants like corn, switch grass and sugar beets grown in the United States. The Eco+Grande has nutrients built into the wall of the container that helps plants grow bigger and faster all season, if planted in the ground. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container.  The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product.

Care: Plants shouldn't need to be pruned but a trim can be administered at any time. Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food. White Knight is a "heavy drinker" and will prefer evenly moist soil. It will be quick to show drought stress but should bounce back quickly once re-hydrated. It is ideal in large planters and the landscape.

Healthy and blooming

Plants arrived well packaged. Within a short time they were in the ground and several weeks later, they have flushed out nicely with lovely tiny purple flowers. I am sure each plant will continue to grow larger as the season progresses.
